There is no program where this is more apparent than our International Master’s in Management (IMM) Program.
Ceremony in Budapest recognizes new partners.
Just this past Monday I was in Budapest with deans from six other internationally known business schools to formally announce a major expansion in this program, from four partner schools to seven. The Krannert School of Management at Purdue University remains the only partner in the United States. Students in the program will earn an MBA from Purdue University as well as an MBA from another partner school.
It is our pleasure to welcome EMLyon Business School in France, Tianjin University in China and FGV School of Administration – EBAPE in Brazil to the IMM Program. Partnerships were previously established and will continue with Tias-Nimbas Business School of Tilburg University in Tilburg, the Netherlands; CEU Business School in Budapest, Hungary; and GISMA Business School in Hannover, Germany.
The expanded partnership will prepare graduates more thoroughly with diverse educational and cultural experiences to lead multinational teams around the world. The program is designed so students can complete the 20-month course of study without taking a break from their careers. Our faculty is eager to work with our new partners to create relevant and sophisticated learning opportunities that only an IMM program spanning the globe can provide. This very important milestone provides a new model for global business education—one of leveraging diverse core competencies through a partnership of equals.
The IMM Executive MBA program has been recognized as one of the world’s “most international executive MBA” programs by the Financial Times. It is accredited in both the United States and Europe. Interesting combination. I was trying to understand the advantage of this program. I could understand if you spent time in foreign countries to earn the degree. Seems like maybe you should rotate the professors from country to country since sending the students oversears may not be as cost effective. However it appear you do this all from Lafayette?

There are several advantages to the program. All seven partner schools participate in recruiting resulting in an international student body. Then, all students meet about every three months at a different partner campus – in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. This allows the program to pull upon the best resources at each school and also expose students to business in different economic systems. More information is available at the Purdue website:
