TeachLive involves the creation of a learning game environment that includes three case-based scenarios where students assume teacher roles and are expected to make instructional decisions, handle classroom issues, perform behavioral management and implement assistive technology. An administration tool is being implemented to assist the instructor in the creation of additional future modules. This project is the recipient of a 2009 TLT Digital Content Development Grant award. Expected completion date is June 30th, 2010.
TeachLive was developed in collaboration with Dr. Emily Bouck and Academic Technologies student developers Kevin Mohr, Brad Urso, Craig Williams, Mark Yates, and Victor Wieczorek. The tool is being developed with a combination of technologies: PHP, MySQL, Javascript, AJAX, CSS, and Flash Animation.
