Morning Musings: Copyright Office announces huge DMCA changes

Educators and amateur filmmakers everywhere rejoice!  The US Copyright Office released a statement yesterday from the Librarian of Congress listing six (6) new exemptions of fair use to the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) allowing more flexibility for consumers/educators/everyone to legally rip DVDs, and “jailbreak” phones.  This is a big deal, allowing more flexibility for almost everyone.
