Augmented Reality System for Learning Games

Recently students from the Terrassa School of Engineering have adapted a chess learning system to utilize augmented realities for teaching chess. It combines AR, computer vision, and artificial intelligence to utilize a high-definition home webcam, the AR Chess software, a standard board and pieces, and a set of cardboard markers the same size as the squares on the board (each marked with the first letter of the corresponding chess piece).
